SES - Transition Event

On Monday 3 June 2024 a transition event was held at Kedron Emergency Services Complex to formally acknowledge the State Emergency Service transitioning from Queensland Fire and Emergency Services to the Queensland Police Service (QPS).

This strategic move streamlines coordination and resource allocation, ensuring a more efficient and effective emergency response system. The State Emergency Service will have their own chain of command, budget, and corporate support.
