Protect the rights of victims of violent crime

To help protect the rights of victims of violent crime, Queensland Government employees must be familiar with the Charter of Victims’ Rights (the Charter). The Charter also applies to funded non-government agencies that provide services to victims of crime.

The Charter demonstrates a commitment to treat all victims of violent crime in a consistent way, minimising the risk of further trauma to the victim.
