2.1 Introduction to Section 2 of the OAMF

Section 2 of the Office Accommodation Management Framework (OAMF) identifies the 4 key office accommodation management processes and establishes the relationship between these processes. It provides a basis for:

  • delivering suitable, timely and cost-effective office accommodation to government agencies
  • developing strategies to maximise whole-of-government benefits.

Purpose

The purpose of Section 2 is to describe the processes and procedures involved in planning, acquiring, fitting out,and occupying government office accommodation in accordance with government policy and best practice.

Processes

Section 2 of the OAMF addresses the processes of:

  • planning
  • space
  • fitout
  • occupancy.
