Human rights training — regional roadshow

From late July, the Human Rights Unit from the Department of Justice and Attorney-General will embark on a regional roadshow to deliver free face-to-face training on human rights for public sector employees.

Each training session will provide:

• a thorough introduction to the Human Rights Act 2019, including how it came to be
• an overview of the obligations the HR Act places on all Queensland public sector employees
• tools to meet these obligations
• steps to help build a culture that respects, protects and promotes human rights in the public sector.
