The EIRRG will assist agencies to actively identify and manage the employee and industrial relations challenges that the RIT Program will face as implementation activities accelerate.

Outcomes

The EIRRG will provide advice and guidance concerning employee and industrial relations specific capabilities, business policies, processes, business systems and resourcing. This includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Provide a collegiate platform to discuss and comprehend the challenges that may be confronting representatives specific to employee and industrial relations
  • Consult with workplace representatives on matters relating to the Taskforce’s success
  • Provide regular updates on Taskforce activities that may impact employees and report back to the Taskforce on any issues raised by representatives
  • Advise of issues in the broader environment that may impact the Taskforce’s success
  • Ensuring employee and industrial relations related risks are identified and managed in a timely manner
  • Monitor Taskforce progress and key employee and industrial relations dependencies, and
  • Ensuring an impartial and open forum for members to raise and discuss business concerns regarding the RIT Program deliverables.
