About
Asexual Awareness Week (also known as Ace Week) is an international campaign that seeks to educate about asexual, aromantic, demisexual, and grey-asexual experiences.
The week runs annually in the last full week of October and helps to educate and give voice to asexual people who are estimated to be approximately 1% of the population.
Queensland Government employees can get involved by hosting morning teas, or contacting the LGBTIQ+ Steering Committee for information on webinars and online resources. Activities could also include asexual awareness and education within agencies: visit Aces & Aros - Get Involved With Your Community who have a range of resources available.
For information on how Queensland Government employees can get involved, subscribe to the Queensland Public Sector LGBTIQ+ and Ally Employee Network.
We support employees. #BeYou
