Portfolio management

It is important that all approved initiatives be managed and monitored accordingly.

For information on the management of agency initiatives as a portfolio, agencies should refer to existing best practice methodologies such as:

  • MOP® Portfolio management

Within each portfolio, agencies should also manage their initiatives as programs, projects, or business-as-usual activities. Agencies should refer to existing, widely used methodologies:

  • ITIL ® IT Service Management
  • PRINCE2® Project Management
  • PRINCE2 Agile ® Agile Project Management
  • MSP® - Programme Management
